The new wave of work is upon us! And by "new wave" I mean it's the same thing as always, but with different tools. You've probably been working remotely now for 2+ years, but what does that ideally look like for you? Is working from home really all it's cracked up to be? In this post, we'll share our tips for making a successful remote work practice. Here are a few tips for making the most of your work experience.

1) Make sure you're organized.

Working from home can be a bit chaotic if you're not used to it, so make sure you have a good system for keeping track of what needs to be done.  This could mean using a daily planner, setting up weekly or monthly goals, or just taking a few minutes each day to sit down and think about what needs to be accomplished.

2) Set regular hours.

It can be tempting to work all the time when you're at home, but it's important to set regular hours for yourself and stick to them. This will help you avoid burnout and maintain a good work/life balance.

3) Take breaks.

Even if you're used to working long hours, it's important to take breaks when you're working from home. Get up and move around every few hours, take a walk outside, or just step away from your desk for a few minutes. This will help you stay refreshed and focused.

4) Set boundaries with your family and friends.

Just because you're working from home doesn't mean that your life is suddenly free for the taking. You still need to set limits so that you can focus on your work.

5) Be prepared for distractions.

Working from home can be great, but it also has its downsides - like kids coming in every five minutes asking for help with their homework or the neighbor who likes to stop by for coffee every morning. Be prepared for distractions and know how to deal with them when they come up.

6) Find space outside of the home.

If you start to feel stir-crazy, it's OK to get out of the house and work from a coffee shop or local coworking space for a change of scenery. These options are great for changing up your flow, helping you focus better, and maybe even meeting a new friend. Just make sure you're still getting your work done!

In conclusion,  working from home can be a great experience if you're prepared for it. Follow these tips and you'll be on your way to success. Thanks for reading!
